At Built Proper we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If something isn’t right, we’re here to help.
1. Return Period
Customers have the right to return items within 14 days of receiving their order in accordance with UK Consumer Contracts Regulations.
To be eligible for a return, items must be:
• Unworn
• Unwashed
• In their original condition
• With any original tags attached
Returns requested outside of this period may not be accepted.
2. Non-Returnable Items
For hygiene and quality control reasons, the following items cannot be returned:
• Items that have been worn or used
• Items damaged after delivery
• Items returned without original packaging or tags
Built Proper reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.
3. How to Request a Return
To request a return please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order.

Please include:
• Your order number
• Your name
• The item you wish to return
• Reason for return
Once your request has been approved, you will receive instructions on how to return the item.
4. Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the item received is faulty or incorrect.
We recommend using a tracked service as Built Proper cannot be responsible for items lost during return transit.
5. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the outcome.
If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method.
Please allow 5–10 working days for the refund to appear depending on your bank or payment provider.
6. Faulty or Incorrect Items
If you receive an item that is faulty or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
We will arrange a replacement or full refund including any delivery costs where appropriate.
7. Exchanges
If you require a different size or item, please contact us and we will assist where possible.
Exchanges are subject to product availability.
8. Late or Missing Refunds
If you have not received your refund after the stated time:
• Check with your bank or payment provider
• Contact your card issuer as processing times can vary
