Built Proper wasn’t created by a fashion brand or marketing company.

Built Proper was born from a respect for the craft.

At 16 years old, school wasn’t where I found my path. Like many people who go into the trades, the classroom didn’t always show what we were capable of. But stepping onto a building site for the first time changed everything.

Brickwork became more than just a job. It became part of who I am.

Learning the trade as an apprentice meant long days, hard work and going home exhausted. But there was something powerful about creating something real with your hands. Watching a wall rise from the ground, brick by brick, knowing that if built proper it would stand long after we were no longer here.

Over the years that passion turned into pride. Pride in doing things properly. Pride in learning from those who had mastered the trade before us. Pride in leaving work behind that will stand for decades. A trade where precision matters. Where patience matters. Where pride in your work matters.

Built Proper was created to represent that mindset.

This brand is for the people who build things the right way. The people who respect the craft. The people who understand that real work takes patience, skill and pride.

Built Proper is not about fast fashion.

It’s about identity.

It’s about the tradespeople, the craftsmen, and the ones who take pride in doing things properly.

Because when something is done right when it’s built with care, patience and skill it’s Built Proper.

Respect the Craft.
